Shopify POS

One stock count. Every counter, every channel.

We plan, set up and connect Shopify POS for Malaysian retailers, so outlets, the online store and the back office work from one set of products, customers and inventory.

How it flows

  1. Outlet
  2. Shopify POS
  3. Inventory
  4. Online store
  5. Reports

The problem

Two systems means two versions of the truth.

When the counter and the website run on different systems, stock is counted twice, customers exist twice, and reports need a spreadsheet to agree. Every new outlet multiplies the reconciliation.

Shopify POS runs in-store selling from the same admin as the online store. Inventory is tracked per location, customer profiles are shared, and orders from every channel land in one place. Our job is to set it up so it matches how your outlets actually operate.

What we do

What's included.

  1. 01

    Location and inventory design

Locations, stock allocation, transfers and receiving set up to match warehouses, outlets and pop-ups.

  2. 02

    Staff roles and permissions

POS roles, staff PINs and manager approvals for discounts, refunds and price changes.

  3. 03

    Omnichannel flows

Buy online pick up in store, ship from store, and exchanges or returns across channels.

  4. 04

    Receipts and hardware guidance

Custom receipt content and a hardware list reviewed against your payment provider.

  5. 05

    Mall and tax add-ons

Daily mall GTO submission and LHDN e-invoicing from POS sales through our own Shopify apps.

  6. 06

    Back-office integration

POS sales, stock and payouts connected to your ERP or accounting system.

How it works

The process, step by step.

  1. 01

    Outlet survey

How each outlet sells, counts stock, closes the day and reports to the mall.

  2. 02

    Configure

Locations, products, staff, receipts and payment settings.

  3. 03

    Pilot

One outlet goes live first; we fix what the pilot reveals.

  4. 04

    Roll out

Remaining outlets in planned waves with staff training.

  5. 05

    Connect

GTO, e-invoicing and back-office integrations switched on.

  6. 06

    Support

A named channel for outlet issues after go-live.

Questions

Asked often.

Can POS and the online store share inventory?

Yes. Shopify tracks inventory per location, so a sale at one outlet reduces that outlet's stock and online availability follows the locations you allow to fulfil online orders.

Can we run mall outlets on Shopify POS?

Yes. Most malls require tenants to submit daily sales for GTO rental; our GTO app sends Shopify POS sales to supported malls automatically.

Which card terminals work in Malaysia?

That depends on the payment provider you use with Shopify in Malaysia. We confirm supported terminals with your provider before you buy hardware.

Do we need POS Pro?

Shopify offers POS Lite with every plan and POS Pro as a per-location subscription with more staff and inventory tools. We recommend one per outlet type after the outlet survey; Shopify lists current pricing on its site.
